Recently the Guardian published a series of pictures depicting the effects of overpopulation and the abuse we heaped on the planet. Pictures are also accompanied with a short description of the place and the issue it highlights.

Thanks for sharing – these are sobering photos. Although overpopulation and overconsumption are often thought of as one and the same, I think that overconsumption is the real culprit and the factor that we in the US have the most responsibility for.
